STAY AND PLAY

Starting School is an important stage in your child’s life and a time of change for you all. Whilst you may feel excited, you may also be a little unsure of what to expect. Come along for an informal ‘Stay and Play’ session with your child to chat to the Reception staff and explore the learning environment together.

MEET THE TEACHER

During the Summer Term the Nursery children will get to know the Reception staff through shared story times and outdoor activities. In July they will have the opportunity to spend a morning in Reception with the staff, exploring the classroom with their friends. They will collect a pack with useful information and tips about helping to prepare your child for Reception and ideas for fun things to do over the Summer.

EVIDENCE ME

We will also share some fun activities via the Evidence Me App, which will support your child when starting school. You will also be able to share pictures and messages, all of which will help your child become familiar with the school and allow us to get to know your child too.
