Today, we completed our training about how to ride a scooter safely. We really enjoyed our session with Matt. Here are some pictures of some of the things we did.
World Book Day
We have had a lovely day today, as we celebrated World Book Day. The children came dressed as their favourite characters and spent some time telling the class about their choices. Many children brought their favourite book, so we shared these with our friends. We drew pictures of our costumes and coloured special bookmarks. We've really enjoyed our time at school today!
Christmas Jumper Day!
Thank you to everyone for sending in your donations for Christmas Jumper Day. Our classroom was made much brighter by all the lovely jumpers that the children wore.
Welcome to Squirrels' Class!
As part of our art topic, and one of our settling in exercises, we have been painting self-portraits. We looked at ourselves in a mirror and thought about where all of our facial features are. Then, we thought about the right colours for our faces. Next, we drew our faces using a pencil. Finally, we used paint to finish our portraits off. I hope you will agree that the end result is fantastic! Who can you spot?
