Sit back and relax as you watch and listen to David Walliams reading aloud from Gangsta Granny. Pay close attention to how he reads the book. Does he use expression? Does he use different voices for different characters?

 

Peterbrook Challenge

 

We would like you to choose a favourite book of yours. We would like you to practise reading with expression and using different voices for different characters, which will really bring your story to life 

 

If you can, choose one page (make sure to choose a good one) of your story and record yourself reading it aloud. You can then email your performance to your year group email address as your teachers would love to see your performance reading.
