We had a fantastic time making LEGO Fairground Rides in our STEMbotics workshop! The children had great fun creating their rides and using their computing skills to program the rides to move! Check out their fantastic creations!

Today, Otters were fortunate enough to work with our visitor Skyla to do some drama activities. She told us a story about a fox and how he tried to make friends with different animals. We were able to act each part of the story out which was great fun! We then got to make up our own version of the story and enjoyed acting this out too!
Exploring with clay - Spring 2024
We have had lots of fun exploring clay and have learned many new techniques and have learned how to shape and roll clay. We were then able to use these skills and techniques to create simple pinch pots. Our work culminated in us designing and making our own tiles. Take a look at us in action!
Children in need 2023 - spotacular!
What a great day we have had dressing up in our spottiest attire, undertaking the bearpee challenge and selling yummy cakes and biscuits. Let's hope we manage to raise lots of money for this very worthwhile cause! Here are some photos of us in our lovely spotty clothes!
Welcome to Otters!
It is hard to believe that we have only been in Otters for just over six weeks! What a great six weeks we have had! One thing we have really enjoyed is our mastering number programme. We have enjoyed using our Rekenreks to instantly recognise numbers. We are beginning to recognise what different numbers are composed of. Look at us in action!
