This is a platform that we use in school to take pictures and video observations of the children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We are able to share these with you via the Evidence Me app.  During the current situation it has been a valuable tool, which has allowed us to share information and online forms too. 

 

Each week we will be sending you fun practical home learning activities which we would like your child to complete as part of their homework. Please feel free to send any photos, videos and comments back to us. This helps to develop a full picture of your child’s interests and learning. In class, we are using Evidence Me to make observations of key steps in their learning. We will be sending home observations for you to view and share with your child.

 

How Parent Share Works

1. Once the school has linked your email address to your child’s account, you will be sent a Parent Share invitation to activate your account.
2. If you would like to participate, click on the link to activate and confirm your email address.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not receive your set up email please check your spam/ junk folder. If it doesn’t appear in there then please contact us via the Office email  office@peterbrook.solihull.sch.uk directly to ensure we have the correct email for you. 

 

 

ANDROID USERS, PLEASE NOTE:

If your device is running Android 4.x (minimum requirement is v4.4) you will need to install an additional security certificate on your device in order for you to log in to the app:

1. 1. First, check your device for Android system updates to see if there is a newer version of Android OS for your device
   2. If there are no updates available then you will need to install an additional security certificate as follows:

• Open an internet browser on your device
• Tap OK
• In the “Name the certificate” box, type Evidence.Me into the Certificate name.
• Go to – http://www.evidence.me/certificate/__2eskimos_com.der

Download the App from your devices’ App Store

1. Visit the App Store or Play Store on your device and search for Evidence Me by 2Simple
2. Follow the steps to download the app

 

Log into the app

1. Open the app on your device
2. Enter your Email and password
3. Tap Login
4. The following pop up messages will appear:
   1. Do you want to set a PIN? we recommend that you select OK to keep your app secure (you can select No and set this up at a later date).
   2. Would you like to save this password to use with apps and websites? Please Note: If you are using a shared iCloud account we would recommend clicking Not Now
   3. “Evidence me” Would Like to Access the Microphone – Tap OK
   4. “Evidence me” Would Like to Access the Camera – Tap OK
   5. Press OK
