This week is Children's Mental health Week.  At Peterbrook, we do a lot to help the children manage their mental health.  We have introduced communication boxes in each classroom to allow children to have an additional way of communicating with their teacher and we teach the children strategies to help them when they are stressed or anxious such as the chime bar and deep breaths.  We try and include an assembly on mental health each term and on Monday, Mrs Burke delivered an assembly to introduce Children's Mental health week.  Please have a look at the poster with lots of self care ideas.  If you need further support for your child, please look on the NHS website which has lots more ideas as well as places you can go for help.  The website is: https://www.nhs.uk/every-mind-matters/supporting-others/childrens-mental-health/
