On Friday 1st April we had an amazing trip to Birmingham Botanical Gardens! We looked at a variety of different plants and trees and continued our work on 'Plants'. We were able to spot different types of seed dispersal as well as different types roots! We had an excellent time and had lots of fun!

We had so much fun with Dr Jenny Watson! We continued our work from Autumn Term when we looked at rocks, we started by investigating different types of rocks to see whether they were magnetic, absorbed water, breakable and what they looked like. We then used chocolate to make the three types of rocks! We ended our lesson by making our own fossils. Thank you so much Dr Watson - we had a great time!
We had an excellent time enjoying World Book Day over the past week! We ended the week by dressing up and sharing our favourite books!
Well done to all the children in Wren class this half term, you have all worked incredibly hard - please see pictures of what we have been up to in class below as well as our Christmas song! Enjoy and have a lovely break over Christmas! I will see you all in the New Year!
Today we classified rocks into groups as part of our rocks topic.
Today we made Stone Age pots as part of our history lessons, well done everyone!
Today we dissected owl pellet to find out what an owl eats, we found lots of different animal bones!
The children in Wren class have settled really well into Year 3! I am really pleased with their attitudes towards their learning and their enthusiasm.
