Week commencing 01 June
We hope you have had a super week enjoying the sunshine. We have got some lovely activities for you to do at home. Our maths work this week is all about position and direction and we have included a fun game involving Wally from Where's Wally! Perhaps you could play it with your family! We are continuing with our theme of holidays but are now looking at the geography aspect - the location of different seaside resorts etc.
There are some lovely pictures for you to look at and work with from the artist Georgia O'Keeffe. Don't forget to send any pictures of you doing the work or anything else you would like to share with us. Also Mrs Burke and I have made a short video about the changes which we have had to make to the school in order for some of the children to return. It just looks a bit different and perhaps you could watch the video when it is posted with your adult to talk about how different it looks so as you have an idea of what it is like when you are able to return. It's a bit funny too as Mrs Burke kept forgetting what to say - but don't tell her I told you that!!
There are quite a lot of resources this week so we have had to save them in three folders!! We hope this doesn't cause too much confusion! The first folder has the weekly planner in which is called 'home learning week commencing 1st June'. This gives you more details about the activities and where to find the resources you will need.
Hopefully it won't be too long until we are able to see you again. Until then, keep up the brilliant hard work you are doing at home - we are super proud of how well you are doing and remember to look after each other. x
