The children have now completed two full weeks in school.

A huge well done to them all for their positive start and enthusiasm coming into school in the morning!

Reading Meeting

Friday 7th October 2022

2.30pm in the Infant Hall

This week, we will be bringing home a class library book to share with an adult – your child is not expected to be able to read it! It might make a great bedtime story! Simply enjoy the quality time with your child.

Next Friday we will start sending home the Home -School bags. Your child will have the opportunity to bring home 1 of the bags each term. Please complete and return the Home Learning letter and return the slip giving your child permission to bring home a bag.

The children have been doing so well in the dinner hall – we are really proud of them all.  Please continue to practise using a knife and fork effectively – especially the cutting of food – to help with your child’s independence at mealtimes.

Please ensure that all items of uniform (including shoes!) are clearly labelled with their names, so that we can match items up with the correct children. We would hate anyone to lose anything, especially this early on in the year!

REMINDER: Reception children are to come dressed in their PE kit ready for our sessions on a Friday. On 'wear what you like days' we would still like them to come in their kit, except they can wear any t-shirt  with a cardigan, jumper or sweatshirt.
