Summer 2 Remote Learning Plans
Hello there from Mrs Hashdi and Miss Leach
Just a quick note to you all about Tuesday and Wednesday's maths as there seems to be a little confusion! We intended for the children to undertake the first three activities from the booklet the mystery of the missing football on Tuesday and then the remaining two today. (please see below)
Tuesday | |
Maths | Open up the resource ‘the mystery of the missing football’. Read through the story with your child and work through the first three activities (more or less, match times and take a shot) which are based around key skills covered in Year Two. Children will undertake the next two activities from the booklet tomorrow. |
Wednesday | |
Maths | Open up the resource started yesterday ‘ the mystery of the missing football’. Read through the story with your child and work through the next two activities (penalty shoot out and what’s the make? which are based around key skills covered in Year Two. |
We hope this makes it a little clearer! Apologies for any confusion! If your child has completed all of the maths work and fancies an additional challenge, there are some fabulous problem solving activities on the following website:-

As of today (Thursday 1st July) , Year 2 children are isolating until next Friday (9th July). Below you will find the planning for the week beginning 5th July. You will also find the resources for each day. Please use the blue workbook we sent home with your child in the Spring term. If you do not have the workbook, please use paper or a book of your own choice.
The Year Two email will be re-opened so you can email with any queries or send photos/scans of completed work.
We will not be using TEAMS during this time.
