Wow! Glorious blue skies greeted Year 6 as they awoke this morning with no clouds to be seen until late this afternoon - the perfect weather for our final full day in this beautiful part of the world!
Every group spent some time on the beach today, with one group heading to Anglesey after a canoe across the lake. Other groups also did some climbing and sea level traversing to conclude the main activities for this week.
This evening, children tidied their dorms before relaxing with a film, a pool competition and spending some money at the tuck shop.
Tomorrow will include breakfast, packing, orienteering at Llyn Padarn and then an early lunch at the centre before we leave at around 12pm. We anticipate arriving back at Peterbrook between 3.30 and 4pm but this depends on traffic and therefore we will contact school, who will in turn contact parents & carers with our arrival time.
Finally, I want to say a huge well done to all children who have attended the residential. They have been polite, well organised, worked well in their teams and have generally made the week enjoyable for each other and the staff. They have done themselves and Peterbrook proud and deserve commending for their overall behaviour.
