We can conquer mountains and tame waterfalls but struggle when the Centre wifi isn't working!! Apologies for the late post.
Wednesday brought more fine weather which encouraged us to climb high in search of magnificent, far reaching views. Crystal's group ventured to the Llyn Peninsula and climbed two mountains, taking in an Iron Age fort, a summit shelter and 360 degree panoramic views. We had to work hard as it involved a scrambling ascent and a trickier descent but the sense of achievement at the end of the day was wonderful. Dave and Matt's groups also climbed high during their day of adventure in the mountains. Sophie also climbed, but chose an interesting route through a gorge and up a waterfall.
Our evening activity was a spectacular walk along the coast with Caenarfon Castle as our destination. The stars were beautiful once again and many of us were fortunate to see a blazing shooting star light the darkened sky.
