As part of our Science Week, pupils took part in Demo Day.
Demo Day is an annual campaign which takes place during British Science Week and aims to inspire school teachers to explore new concepts, provoke discussions and generate excitement through running science demonstrations.
In light of this, each class teacher chose an experiment which they demonstrated at some point in the day and then allowed pupils the opportunity to carry these out too.
Our focus this year was Chemistry and there were some very strange investigations which took place involving coke, cabbages and cornflower but the results were fascinating and great fun was had by all!
