We have started using a fantastic new resource to support our 'Personal, Social and Health Education' work. It is called 'Jigsaw' and is based upon a mindful approach. It is designed to teach our pupils the skills they need to flourish, be happy and resilient in a world of new technology, social pressure and high demands on time. Our recent HRBQ (health related behaviour questionnaire) data illustrates the need for this.
We strongly believe that you need to feel confident, secure and happy if you are to reach your potential. Therefore, as a school, we are committing more time every week to teaching PSHE. In addition, we are also working with Jules Mitchell on 'The Big Happiness Experiment',' which she will be supporting us with during the week commencing 19th September.
