SC: I can edit and write up a kenning poem

that includes:

  • Alliteration (using the same sound eg ‘nose nuzzler’)
  • Powerful vocabulary
  • Hyphens

Today you should edit the poem that you wrote yesterday and then write it up on a new sheet of paper in your best handwriting- you can even add an illustration.

When you are editing remember:

  • Use a different coloured pen/pencil
  • Look for any spelling errors-change them
  • Make sure you have alliteration- add some in if it’s missing!
  • Use powerful vocabulary- for example instead of ‘mouse-catcher’ you might choose to write ‘mouse terroriser’

Remember to add in any missing hyphens.
