Autumn Term

Nursery Newsletter – 3rd October 2019

Our learning theme this term is Marvellous Me!! We have been learning about our senses. This week we have thought about using our ears to listen with during our listening walk around school. The children have loved playing in our Optician’s Role Play and listening to different environmental sounds. Next week we are learning about sight and colours.

Homework – the children now have a folder in their book bags with homework inside – please encourage the children to complete the activities weekly – we look in their bags for this on a Wednesday.

Library book – the children have selected a book from our book corner, please share the story at home and record on the reading record card.

Homework and Library book will be changed every Wednesday.

Supporting children at home – singing nursery and number rhymes, recognising numbers 0-5, counting to 10 verbally, recognising their name and supporting children to put their coats on independently.
