Celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!
Wow! Seventy years on the throne! What an achievement! We have had a wonderful day celebrating. We made our own crowns, had a picnic lunch on the playground and had a fun packed afternoon on the bouncy castle and tea cups! What a great day to mark such a special occasion!
Tuesday 26th April - Stratford Upon Avon
Following our topic on living things in the Spring term where we watched caterpillars grow and emerge in to butterflies, we went on a visit to the Butterfly Farm in Stratford Upon Avon. It was truly amazing to see lots of beautifully coloured butterflies flying all around us - some of them even felt brave enough to have a little rest on us! Then we went to visit Shakespeare's schoolroom (we learned all about William Shakespeare and his work last term in our English topic). It was great to learn all about how school times were very different when he was at school. We weren't impressed by how long they had to stay at school for and the teachers sounded a bit strict! We all had a wonderful time. Take a look at some of our highlights!

Animal magic! 21st March 2022

World book day - March 2022
We have had lots of fun coming to school dressed as our favourite book characters! We also did some really fun activities in our classes about the characters we had chosen. Take a look at our amazing costumes!
Green day 2022
Today was our first Green day of this academic year! We looked at waste and recycling and talked about the importance of trying to recycle materials where we can. Over the past week, we have collected a variety of recyclable materials from home and have brought them in to school. Our task today was to use the materials to make a collage of the very famous recycling emblem which we found out is called the Mobius loop, which is a triangle composed of three arrows looping back on themselves in clockwise direction. This symbol indicates that a product can be recycled, but not necessarily that it has been itself produced from recycled materials. Take a look at us making our collages!
Getting creative with clay!
We have been looking at animals and their needs in our science work. To complement this, we have undertaken observational drawings of animals and today we use clay to make some models of animals. We have had great fun (though it was rather messy!) Take a look at us in action!!
We have had an explosion of glitter in our room this week! Take a look at our lovely cards and calendars!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Look at our wonderful art work! We have looked at different landscapes and tried to created warm and cold backgrounds using colour shading. Take a look at our wonderful work!
