Our Sea Life Centre Trip

This week we enjoyed a trip to the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham. We saw many unusual and fantastic creatures, as well as taking in a film in the 4-D cinema. We had a wonderful time, as you can see in some of the photographs below.

Steve Smallman

A few weeks ago the children in Year 2 wrote to author, Steve Smallman, to tell him how much they were enjoying his books. This week, we were lucky enough to receive a reply!  Here's the letter for you to read.

Monday 13th February

We have come to the end of our circus topic now. As part of this, we got together in small groups to perform some pretend circus acts. We had great fun!

Thursday 26th January - Author visit

We were super excited on this day as the author Chris Higgins came in to school to tell us about her work and share some information with us about how she first became interested in writing. She also read an extract from her book 'trouble next door' to us! We had the opportunity to buy some of her books at the end of the session which she very kindly signed for us. What a super day!
