On behalf of the pupils, parents, staff and governors welcome to Peterbrook Primary School’s website. I hope that you will find it enjoyable, interesting and informative. We endeavour to create and celebrate opportunities for all. Our motto is “If you believe it, you can achieve it”. By valuing the contribution of all members of our school community we have created a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
Peterbrook parents are generous with the support they give to their children, as well as the wider school community through the activities of our thriving PTFA. Our Parent Council act as the formal parental voice that is crucial in contributing to and shaping our School Improvement Plan. It is also an opportunity for parents to bring our attention to those matters which they feel are important in helping them to support their children in school. As active partners in their children’s learning both groups are fully involved in shaping our school’s direction in terms of provision and resources.
Our school Governors play a leading role in shaping and guiding our vision, and they are committed to ensuring the very best opportunities for our pupils through their ‘hands on’ involvement. Our Governing Body has a wide range of duties and powers and has a general responsibility for promoting high standards of educational achievement.
Last but never least, it is our pupils who make Peterbrook a special place. We are proud of our pupil’s academic performance and their success and achievements gained through the extensive range of musical, sporting and extra-curricular activities we offer them. Uniquely, links with our four International partners around the world help our children to nurture friendships in the global community.
If you would like to discuss with me any aspect of our website and its future roles, then please feel free to make an appointment at our school office or send me an e-mail.
