On Friday 30th June, Year 6 took a break from rehearsals for our end of year production and visited Stratford-Upon-Avon. We caught the train from Shirley station and were in good time for our 11am visit to the Royal Shakespeare Company on the riverside. Whilst at the theatre, pupils took in the breathtaking views across Warwickshire from the tower, participated in an interactive workshop entitled 'The Play's the Thing' and were able to visit the gift shop. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us and we were able to have lunch on the grass before walking along the River Avon and having a little free time to stretch legs and relax with friends. Following this, it was time to make our way back to the train station (via a quick look at Shakespeare's birthplace) and head back to Peterbrook. Well done to all pupils for representing our school with maturity throughout the day. Enjoy looking through the photos!
