Year 5 Roman Day
We have been studying the topic of the Romans here in year 5 and we have learnt and are still learning lots about what the Romans got up to and how they affected the world in which we live today.
We have arranged a fantastic visit from Professor McGinty and his amazing Mobile Museum on Thursday 8th February 2018. Throughout his visit, he will be providing us with a Roman Britain workshop that will be full of interesting facts and practical activities. After the workshops, we will be continuing with the Roman Day and will have lots of other exciting activities and learning opportunities for all the children to take part in.
To make the most of this experience we would like to invite all the children to come dressed up in Roman Britain clothing for the day. A few ideas for you are:
We are anticipating a fantastic Roman themed day, full of lots of fun and engaging activities and we are really looking forward to seeing which type of Roman that you will be…
Please feel free to come and see us if you have any questions regarding the activities of the day.
