Peterbrook Players

Peterbrook Players

Peterbrook Players was set up in 1969 by the then headmaster Roy Hughes, and a father at the school, Peter Dyer, who both thought it would be a good idea to start an amateur Dramatic company in the Solihull Lodge area.

The first show was 'Oliver' and we have carried on doing at least one musical a year since then.  For the first 15 yeas we performed the shows at Peterbrook school, converting the Junior hall into a theatre with raised seating for one week a year. We soon outgrew school as a venue with growing audiences and on stage members so we moved to Solihull Arts Complex where we have been performing for over 25 years.

We rehearse at Peterbrook on Thursday evenings from September to March each year- for membership details call 07935 288737 or visit our website Peterbrook Players or email peterbrookplayers@btinternet.co.uk.

We have various social events throughout the year and are always on the lookout for new members on and off stage. We usually perform modern musicals and are a young and friendly society.
