PAWS & GRIZZLIES Before-School, Nursery, After-School & Holiday Wraparound Provision

PAWS and GRIZZLIES is a new self-contained provision, adjacent to the school nursery, within the infant building at Peterbrook Primary School. We are a non-profit making setting managed by the governors of our school and it is completely integrated into school life. The new fully equipped nursery wraparound provision uses the outdoor curriculum area of our EYFS Nursery and enjoys the use of the playground, infant hall, ICT suite and all other facilities and equipment within our school.

Open to all 3-11year-olds as an After-School Club until 6.00pm each day

PAWS and GRIZZLIES provides an attractive, stimulating and reassuring environment for children to flourish and grow. To achieve this we work closely with the children, their parents/carers, our school and other professionals. Our new learning environment is child orientated and has suitable equipment for all children’s stages of development.

PAWS & GRIZZLIES - non-profit making – superb value for money!!

Following our PAWS and GRIZZLIES Nursery Induction Days on 2-3 September, we opened full-time from Monday 6 September. We are open from 7.30am up to 6.00pm daily, Monday to Friday, and in order to offer our parents a flexible, reliable service, we also offer school holiday provision so that we are open 50 weeks a year.

Open during SCHOOL HOLIDAYS too!!

All staff are CRB checked. Key appointed staff hold relevant qualifications in childcare, supported with many years of early years experience. Key staff are also First Aid trained. Staff are appointed on a ratio of 1:8, staff to children. There are still places available for children to be enrolled in this exciting new school childcare provision.
