Hello Y3 parents. Welcome to the summer term. This term we are going to be giving the children a lot of investigation type of maths. We would like the children to use and apply the skills learned this year so far, during problem solving activities. We will be working with mass, capacity, fractions and word problems to consolidate the skills they have learned using the 4 basic operations.
Every Tuesday, we will go outside to learn cricket skills and other ball game skills. We are also going to be learning about electrcity and how it is used to help us enjoy our lives. We will be building a large 3D model of parks, schools and villages along with powered railways and lighting set ups, so if you would be interested in lending a hand with this please let the year 3 team know. Pictures and updates will follow shortly of both past and present work.
If any parents need to talk to the Y3 teachers, please do, our door is always open.
